This day will bring many good and positive discoveries and acquaintances with Tbilisi!

Today we are waiting for an acquaintance with the capital. A leisurely walk will allow you to enjoy the local architecture and attractions, listen to a meaningful story about the centuries-old history and modern life of the city. We will visit the Sameba Cathedral (Holy Trinity), the Metekhi Temple. We climb on the cable car to the Narikala fortress (V century), and also take a walk to the “Fig” waterfall. Further walking tour of the old city will lead us to “Abanotubani” – a quarter in the center of Tbilisi, famous for its bath complex (XVII-XIX centuries) and typical wooden architecture for overhanging Tbilisi carved wooden balconies. A walk along the streets of Sharden, Irakli II with a tour of the modern “Bridge of Peace” (it is an arched pedestrian bridge over the Kura River), Shavteli street with Anchiskhati church (VI c), the residence of the Georgian patriarch Ilia II and the quaint tower of the puppet theater Rezo Gabriadze.

Tour of Uplistsikhe / Chardakhi / Mtskheta: Svetitskhoveli – Jvari
The first item of our program is the city – Uplistsikhe fortress (included in the UNESCO World Heritage List). The oldest fortified city of Uplistsikhe is one of the rarest monuments in the world. Carved in the volcanic rocks of the Kvernaki ridge, this quaint city fascinates with its unusual appearance. Here were once huge magnificent halls, temples, dwellings, interconnected by winding corridor streets. Some dwellings, wineries, parts of temples and fortress walls remained intact.
Wine tasting and lunch at the Iago Cellar

Excursion to the ancient capital of Georgia – Mtskheta (UNESCO national treasure). We will visit the Jvari Monastery (translated from the cargo “Cross”), the 6th century AD, located on the top of the mountain at the confluence of the other Aragvi and Kura rivers, from where a beautiful view of the ancient capital of Georgia, Mtskheta, opens. Visit to the Cathedral of Svetitskhoveli (translated from the cargo. “Life-giving pillar”), where the Chiton of the Lord is buried. We are waiting for a walk along the narrow streets of the old city of Mtskheta. Free time to buy souvenirs. Dinner with homemade wine in a restaurant with a remarkable view of the Mtkvari River (Kura).

Sighnaghi / Bodbe Tour / Wine Tasting / Master Class
Tour of Kakheti, the famous wine region of Georgia. His journey through Kakheti begins with Sighnaghi – the city of music, art and love. Take a walk through the fabulously beautiful city. We will see the medieval fortress, the defensive double walls of which surround the city of Sighnaghi, impressing with its magnificent history. Admire the stunningly beautiful, panoramic views of the Alazani Valley.
We will drive to the current Bodbe monastery – the monastery where St. Nina, the enlightener of Georgia, rests.
Then our route to the famous local wine cellar, where you will have the opportunity to watch and participate in the process of baking Georgian bread yourself. Tasting homemade wine directly from qvevri (a large clay jug). Master class in cooking khinkali and churchkheli.

Tour of Gremi / Nekresi / Graneli Winery / Khareba Wine Cellar
Gremi is an architectural monument of the 16th century. In the past, it was the capital of Kakheti, the capital was the royal residence and lively trading city of the Great Silk Road. Today, almost nothing reminds of the city. There was only a fortress consisting of a tower, royal chambers, defensive walls and a church.
Nekresi is a monastery complex in the Kvareli region, overlooking the Alazani Valley. It consists of several religious buildings belonging to different eras.
